The samples above were going through first round design production. This spectrum UV set was designed to showcase the various spot UV effects available at Lehigh Direct. The interior imagery is displayed like a mirror to serve as a compare and contrast mechanism for the viewer to review the enhancement. Several categories of imagery were considered for the project, with the images above undergoing several rounds of Photoshop alteration. The front images were trimmed and placed over a cloned background to give length to the abnormally long, oblong-shaped mailer. The initial design was quoted to display the top six spot UV special effects: pseudo emboss, glow in the dark, gritty matte, glitter, soft touch, and pearlescent. A ProCard with coordinating imagery served as a mini flash card of the effect, with technology specifications printed on the back.
