the art of photography isn't about the subject matter
but the moment of mastering the manipulation of the elements.
Photography has become a bit of a hobby over the past several years. I decided to take The Art of Photography in college, which inspired me as a designer. I was given nothing more than an old-fashioned camera and film canister. While the digital era continues to develop, no better lesson can be served then going back to the basics. The technique trained me to focus - to really evaluate the image I was trying to capture before my finger graced the trigger on the top of the camera. I spent many nights in the lab developing pictures, perfecting tones, and correcting my mistakes. Today, my design process has integrated the same concept. I incorporate a significant amount of time into pre-planning and always re-evaluate everything that I do before the final submission.
