Summary: LIMA is a non-profit organization dedicated to improving the lives of others. Each year the organization chooses to support four specific causes inspired by motivating letters from people just like you! LIMA works to inform public awareness and raise money for these four causes throughout the year while highlighting each one individually every season. The organization begins research on the set of causes and develops info graphic displays and other publication materials such as advertisements, billboards, and web banners to inform and educate others.
These displays include prevention, rehabilitation, facts, and statistics. This year the “Matchup” campaign consists of four fantastic causes: Man vs. Heart, Woman vs. Self, Man vs. Bike, and Woman vs. Nature inspired by the experiences of heart disease, depression, ATV accidents, and child birth defects, specifically Intrauterine Growth Retardation (IUGR). LIMA also sells merchandise on-line through the company website: www.lima.com. All proceeds go towards public awareness production costs, medical research, public speakers, and specific organizations founded to enhance the lives of those who have experienced these causes.
